After been to Japan for almost 5 months now until yesterday It was my first time seeing and feeling the touch of the snowing here with my own eyes and hands. To be frankly, since I was born till now, I never been to any of the countries which has 4 season and also with the touch of how snow really feels like. Before I came to Japan, I always wanted to see the snow falling in front of my own eyes and touch/feel with my own hands. However on Yesterday, My dream has finally been fullfilled. I was really excited and happy about snowing in front of me and get to touch how snow really feels and looks like in reality.

Yesterday, During morning after I woke up from bed, I didn’t realize it was snowing and thought that it was still raining ( It’s been raining for few days now ) since it was quite dark that did shine upon my window clearly that there is no sunny day for today. After I was ready to go out for school as usual by train, I opened my front door and suddenly I saw something keep on falling from sky. I was thinking ” what is that white thing keep on falling down from the sky? Is it snowing? ” I thought that It was dreaming but after rubbing my eyes and double checking the weather report on my cellphone, IT WAS REAL!.

I had to bring an umbrella with me because my jacket is not a water proof type and will get wet easily if too much snow falling on my jacket. It’s like a dream come true for me to have inspirated by this snow which I never get to feel it before until now.

I took a picture with my malaysian friend who is going to leave Japan this April and won’t be coming back again which is kinda sad to hear about it. The are almost 90% of the Malaysian folks in my school will be leaving Japan and there will be a bunch of new batch of folks from west country of mine coming here this April. For the mean time during this snowing weather, it was quite a good thing for me to actually feel this lovely snow falling in front of me and won’t be forgetting this awesome experience I had yesterday.

Most women in Japan do put up make-up on the trains. One of the reason is because they don’t want to waste the time they spend commuting. According to results of a study by the Pola Research Institute of Beauty and Culture, only 19 percent of women still did their face while commuting, especially those in their 20s. The most common group were those in their late 20s, where 43 percent had used make-up on a train, with 34 percent in their early 20s the next most frequent demographic. Less than 10 percent of those 40 or older had fixed their cosmetics on the train.

When I first came here, I often use train for my commuting to school. Most of the time I spotted alot of girls who did this on train while they have alot of free time sitting on waiting for their long destination. Instead of sleeping, they will spend most of their time doing their make-up and make themself more beautiful in such ways. Most of them do rely on these cosmetics but some girls does look much better without it. ^^;;

Back in my country, I see none of the girls done their make-up on train because if one did do it, They will get a large amount of eyes stared by people around and some might burst their laugh out loud because many people will think negative on you and group you into a so call “LaLa” ( cheap girl who often rely on make-up to make them pretty in a wrong way and wear clothes that are too much of a fashion ) which is often being used and said in my country. ^^;;

But in Japan, People won’t laugh or even stare at you if you did this although there is a sign that said ” Please do it a home. ” which I couldn’t find it anywhere for now and fashion is popular in Japan among youngster which makes them look better or cute. ( Will talk about this soon in another post ) ^^;;
