OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Yesterday early in the morning, One of my fellow Malaysian friend called me and asked if I’m free for Hanami viewing along with the birthday celebration of my previous Dormitory teacher who has been taking care of me while I was living there for about one month only. I agreed and they decided to go to Shinjuku Gyoen which is the largest park in Shinjuku for Hanami viewing. As you know, The best view for Hanami season is on around mid of April which you clearly see all the Sakura ( cherry blossom ) bloom from all the surrounding trees at the Park. But since they wanted to see it now as they are quite busy with their personal stuff like part time job and some are leaving Japan for good, I decided to go with them for a nice view.

This is my first time going to a Hanami viewing and also going to Shinjuku Gyoen park which I never went before after coming to Japan for almost half a year. This park is quite near by my school and it’s quite easy to go at just by stopping at Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station on the Marunouchi Line west exit where I always use for commuting to my school. After commuting for so long, I didn’t realize it was in front of the station where you take a short walk at the opposite direction from the west exit.

Arrived there while waiting for others to come. I was quite excited to go in for a view as I never see a real sakura before ever since until now because the only thing I saw is either on TV News or dorama series which I can also see them in front of my PC only. ^^;;

As you know Shinjuku Gyoen Park appears on many dorama, movies, documentary, news, newspaper and etc which makes the park a famous spot for relaxation and panic along with the awesome Hanami viewing season where they always record all the beautiful sakura at there.

No smoking, Bicycles prohibited and No cats and dogs allowed chasing/inside the park. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

No alcohol drinks allowed inside the park too. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

In order to go into the park, You need to buy entrance ticket first which cost 200 Yen for adult and 50 Yen for children.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Got my ticket and ready to go in.

Unexpectedly after going inside the park, I found a lovely looking Sakura tree which is fully bloomed appeared right in front of me. They have different kinds of Sakura flower in one HUEG park like this. Just too lovely to see them in reality than pictures.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A better close view for the flower.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

There are tons of people are into the Hanami view along with their families, friends and lovers.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is another type of Sakura flower which is commonly seen in many places around Japan. I tried to touch it feels soft and smooth for a flower like this. Awesome!

A lovely day for a picnic. Many people are really enjoying the spring season with a Hanami view along with their families, friends and lovers sitting on the ground having their lovely Bento together.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

There are few of the trees have yet to be fully bloomed. This place is quite HUEG for a park and it’s the most beautiful park I have ever been to in my whole life. I’m gald to be able to go to this kind of awesome park and enjoy seeing the Sakura flower together with my fellow comrades.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A nice view from here to be able to spot a skyhigh building which is owned by NTDoCoMo in Yoyogi.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Sitting on the ground while taking pictures around. LULZ!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I just love the view and place where you can see alot of clean natural environment with a smooth grass on the ground. This is the reason why I love Japan and rubbish are hardly to be spot/seen at your surrounding area while back in my country, they can be easily seen everywhere around. ^^;;

Time to celebrate our dorm teacher birthday.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A lovely strawberry cake which our fellow females bought for him.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Our picnic spot which is under the sakura tree.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I wonder do they feel hot by just having their picnic or sleep under the sunlight? ^^;;

I even spot some couples sleeping together under the sunlight which looks like they are comfortable with. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is the last time I will be seeing her because she will be leaving Japan for good and continue her study in Malaysia.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Does it feel weird that I’m the only guy inside the picture? ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

What a beautiful lake along with the sakura tree on the side of it.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Alot of tourist coming here and take lots of pictures of the surrounding area at this park. Which makes it a famous spot for Hanami viewing in Shinjuku.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Just love the view from this position.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Another fully blossom sakura flower.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This middle tree is the most famous one of all others around because of it’s special different sakura colors in one tree which attracts alot of people around there. Many of them are busy taking pictures of the special tree.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is what I call the best place to visit for. It was too lovely and clean for a park this big. Japanese people knows how to maintain properly for a park like this.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

LOLWUT? What’s with the girl who is self taking picture by herself while I was taking my lovely picture with the sakura flower. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Japanese kids do know how to protect themself from falling into the lake. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

What’s up with both of my hands? I’m busy holding drinks on my left hand. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I remember I saw this tree before in one of the dorama back before when I was still in high school. One of my comrade told me that this scene looks like one of the korean drama called ” Winter Sonata “. LULZ!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Another close up photo.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This is the scene that I always wanted to see it in reality because back before I came to Japan, I always see this on TV ans wishing that I can go there and look by my own eyes.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

When I smile, You can’t see both my eyes clearly. ^^;;

It’s been a while since my last Random Walk 07. Today I’m gonna show you all another new Random Walk which is the latest episode 8. Spring has arrived and my school holiday for the season has just started not too long ago after my final test is over. Above picture is where I took on the last day of class before our final exam. Everyone will be seperated again for another brand new semester with different classmates again.

LOLWUT? What’s up with the guy who rise both of his hands with a Kung-fu/ martial Art/ Glico man/ Eagle style which makes one of the guy on the left who was wearing the black hat do *facepalm.gif*? ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Yakiniku again at Koenji. Seems like I have been addicted to the taste of gilled meat. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A day in Shinjuku. I always go to Shinjuku because my school is located there.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

WOOT? I have found the tasty delicious famous kripsy kreme doughnut where one would queue up for looooong hours just to get to eat them. ^^;;

This is located at the North of Shinjuku which is quite near to the JR train station.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Din Din at Wendy’s. I seems to be addicted to this after eating it once. ^^;;

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Construction building near my living area. Japan construction is quite fast and on time for the completion of one building. Back in my country, finishing one building like this would take 5-8 years for it unless one has the large amount of money to built it up quickly or abandon project on half of the construction can be spotted everywhere around and if one finished the whole thing doesn’t mean it is better than what you can see in Japan where they have done something very well with alot of hardwork on which means that they don’t slack around like what I have seen in my own country.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Mini stall located inside the subway station. This stall is called “Bai-ten” in Japanese.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Having lunch at Mc’donalds. 100 Yen each for a Mc Pork. That is super cheaper than what you get from.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

“Act of vending or performance on the street is prohibited” by chief of Shinjyuku police station.

I have seen this in some other places before but still I wonder is there anything wrong with that?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

On my way to Akihabara by JR train.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

It’s been a while since I last went to Akihabara. I miss this place whenever I was thinking of MOEness. LULZ!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Was looking for the socket adapter near the station. This old shop has been existed for almost 30-40 years where you can get cheap eletronic stuff here. They also have all kinds of cable, adapters, spare parts for all the plugs and etc.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This old shop can be spotted after you leave the station and out at the west exit.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Was trying to find something useful for my home use.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Akihabara is still as crowded as before especially on the weekend where everyone will come out and hunt for some figures, animes, manga, magazines, health care and etc.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Hanami great spot to go for a visit by riding Shinkansen ( bullet train ) to the destination. This year Hanami view spot for me will be at the Ueno park. ( will be writing about it soon )
