In this article, I will talk about the part of Kantou region which is the two different places in Japan that people here prefer to live at which is the Machi ( City Area ) or Inaka ( Rural Area ). In general, Many Japanese people prefer to live in Rural area since most of the in the age of 30 above love to have a clean environment and fresh air around them which they prefer to stay at. However some people might think that Rural area has the cheapest rental fees and cost of living expenses if compare to Machi type ( Big City ) like Tokyo and other places that involves companies and industries around which control the market economy.
But then However, Most youngester these days are getting to like living in a Big city ( Machi ) in Tokyo since they are sick of living in a place which is nothing but green around or small places that they can’t look forward to makes them thinking of leaving to a more entertaining place where they can meet alot of friends and socialize with others such as Gaijin ( foreigners ) and so on. But then some of them are thinking that if they go to the city part, they will get alot of opportunities on finding a better and high annual salary for them after they graduate from university or college.
For most bigger problem is that living in Machi type will be alot expensive in terms of rental fees and cost of living that you have to pay for each month but getting a part time job might save you that but not enough for you to spend on your life especially time that you get on your youth days which might get to waste alot if you don’t use spend it wisely during your age of time until you live in working society that might change your whole life. For me I prefer the Inaka instead of Machi because I want to avoid the cost, people that are unfriendly in big city and unsocialize which most of them will think for their work first than any other priority they put on others. The most biggers problem will the the gaijin population espcially in Tokyo that I also want to avoid from which makes the whole place doesn’t look like a Japanese culture existed but a modern places that is full of different types of people around.
Now I’m living outside of Tokyo and am satisfied with my current living at here as the place isn’t that bad which I saved much more money if I don’t go to Tokyo often. To folks out there, Do you like to live in Machi or Inaka?
