Tokyo CGM Night Part 2

It’s been one month since the previous episode of Tokyo CGM Night that I have been to up until yesterday night I went to another episode of the Tokyo CGM Night which is held in Harajuku at Cafe Ratia. As usual that It was an honor to get invited by the famous DannyChoo along with the people who organized together with Internet Evangelist and Entrepreneur Andrew Shuttleworth.

While at this month CGM night, I caught alot of familiar faces which some of them knew about me and it’s been one month since we last meet until that night. KenLee was the one who spotted me first while I was taking photos around after arriving there in a short while. ^^;;

But now they have a new web company organizer which is the Smart.FM that they are promoting it during that night. Note that Smart.FM is actually the old web of Iknow.co.jp which they have recently changed their web name.

After I have arrived there at 7:00p.m, I suddenly encounter this corner which they give out free stuff to those who have just arrived. The stuff I got is the coolest thing I have seen and got in my whole life. There are also some pens and stickers which I got it from them too.

This is what I have mentioned the coolest thing which they gave out to. It’s a Poken device that save up others contacts and infos which you want to share with people who also have one by touch it’s hand which has a circle thing in the middle and will show green light which means you have already exchange info with the person who poked with you. More people have arrived earlier than me. ^^;;

This cafe is quite big than the previous one. You can see them busy preparing foods for the people around here.

It’s quite narrow inside but large space on the outside. ^^;;

Shampaign anyone? Looks nice on the top but expensive. ^^;;

It’s getting crowded inside and more people are going in since it rains on the outside. ^^;;

Before getting some drinks, I have to go through this counter by paying 500 Yen for each. ^^;;

More Poken goodies to give out to those who just arrived. Few of the cute girls standing there giving it while showing you how to use it. I’m a shy guy so no picture of their faces but will have for sure on the next CGM night. ^^;;

I wish I have my own Mac laptop. Probably will own one sooner or later in future time. ^^;;

And also the presentation time has started. DannyChoo is giving his talk on the front.

He speaks very good japanese and is quite fluent on it.

This picture reminds me of when I first browse the news section of his site during april time which is on 2007 if I’m not mistaken that makes me want to read more about it before coming to Japan. It’s quite nostalgic that I used to be his regular reader back before even until now that I really enjoy reading his articles.

I’m also really surprised at how good his japanese speaking is. Both DannyChoo and him are quite good at speaking japanese. Really envy them as for I speak broken japanese all the time. ^^;;

You can share tons of stuff with people that you want to get contact, exchange details or know about by using this thing which is quite convenient for people who wants to share stuff to the people that they meet. It also records all the date and time that you have poked with which can’t be lost or hacked easily by people. Cool stuff!

AM6 Channel is a mobile content delivery for mere mortals. I don’t quite understand this function and use of it but looks like a cool thing to do it on your phone.

Goodies to be given away. Unfortunely I can’t stay until that late since my place is quite far away from Tokyo and I have to leave early which I have missed the goodies give out session that will start out late night.

This is the goodies I got from and will be looking forward to the next CGM night gathering as I have started getting know some of the people there and have alot of nice chat with them before going back. Can’t wait until next month for free goodies too.
