It’s been another month again since I attended the last Tokyo CGM Night Part 2 which is held at Ritia Cafe in Harajuku. However for this month Tokyo CGM night gathering, It was held at Roppongi in a place called Super Deluxe. It was a much more better place to held a large gathering like this than the previous one where I hardly can walk easily around the small crowded and narrow place. Therefore as usual again that It was a big honor to get invited by the famous DannyChoo along with the people who organized together with Internet Evangelist and Entrepreneur Andrew Shuttleworth.
While at this month CGM night, I caught alot of familiar faces again which some of them knew about me and it’s been one month since we last meet until that night. KenLee was also the first one whom I called during my lost of direction to the place since I’m not really fimiliar with the place around quite well. ^^;;
But now they have a new web company organizer which is the Focal Point Company which release all kind of products especially Apple/iMac. Nonetheless, Everyone was busy preparing and chit chatting while waiting for the main presentation to get started.
They have already done the preperation of the presentation display by screening it into 3 slides on the wall. It was quite convenient for me since the previous one where I hardly can see it and easily took pictures on it. It was a great idea for people who can’t see from behind or too many heads that blocks the display on the wall. ^^;;
No smoking inside this area but you can take a look at the catalog for free or even take one back home if you like it. ^^;;
Folks at the front are busy preparing for their presentation.
Seems like this place is getting crowded after a few minutes. Many folks who have already get inside are still waiting for the presentation to get started.
A casher and a bartender. Which one serves the WIN prize? It always great to see a Japanese girls working in a place like this. ^^;;
The badge for 200 Yen each or the whisky? ^^;;
A J-girl needs a company. ^^;;
It’s great to see some of them are having a nice conversation together like this. The only problem I don’t speak with people around much is because my speaking ( Oral conversation ) is very bad. I practice to write but not for speaking and that is why I failed hard at my own conversation which I hardly can communicate with others. ^^;;
The secret kitchen where you don’t know what they are doing inside while drinking or eating the foods they have served for you. ^^;;
TokyoCooney is ready for his first presentation about his current work/job.
Folks who doesn’t know what is CGM night can go directly to this link: CGM Night.
I’m gonna choose this position as part of my snapshot/ Photos shooting for the presentation talks. It was indeed a nice place to stand and sit while being tired out of taking pictures around. ^^;;
Guess what kind of drink did I ordered from?
Now I finally realize there are tons of people using Apple/Mac in Japan. Apple/Mac was quite popular here and everyone just loves it. I might get one when I have already collected enough money. You can see tons of Mac user here at this gathering or even around Japan. ^^;;
Now the presentation has just started. DannyChoo ( as Always ) is the main host for tonight talk.
The main company for tonight Tokyo CGM.
DannyChoo first commercial that talks about his work. Filmed by Nikonnext.
Here is the video if some of you wanted to see his awesome commercial.
As crowded as usual during the presentation time. ^^;;
I forgot what this topic is about because I was too busy deleting all the blur pictures. ^^;;
Finally he talks about his website and also his work.
Danny is showing his latest video of the dancing stormtrooper. ^^;;
I might be doing this dance somewhere when I get the chance to do so. LULZ! ^^;;
It’s time for Entrepreneur Andrew Shuttleworth to give his talk about the latest website that he and the others builded. It’s called Extreme Hanami.
After this, it’s time for TokyoCooney to give his first talk about his work at the front stage. It’s JIB TV that he is currently working on.
Now I know why there is a background sound coming out at the front during the talk. LULZ! ^^;;
JIB TV is a streaming programs which is a International satellite TV broadcasting to non-Japanese audiences which is where you can watch all the programs in english. More info about: JIB TV.
Having a Mascot that represent your company is a must in Japan. ( Will talk about it in the other post )
Danny is also busy talking pictures using his awesome camera.
Another person talks about Eye-Fi. One of the awesome creation I ever seen or heard from.
Everyone gets to play Jangkenpo and win the latest product which isn’t release on market yet. It’s a Wireless video share that contents 4GB. How awesome is that!
This awesome Japanese guy get to win the prize.
Some figures being displayed in front of the stage table. Owned by Danny.
It’s time for bloggers who blog about previous CGM Night gets to play the game. At first I was quite into it but after realize that the game to win the prize is to go through a arm wrestling, I immediately gave up since I’m bad at this type of game. ^^;;
From the list on the screening wall, Guess which link is mine? LULZ!
Sorry KenLee. I hope you don’t get depressed by not winning the arm wrestling. ^^;;
This person has/wear the most awesome eye glasses I have ever seen in my whole life. ^^;;
While Danny was asking who wants to win the last prize and everyone was looking around without hands up until he has to call up for two person to win the last prize. ^^;;
Presentation is Over and most of the people are leaving the place to catch their train back home.
Still have my last food ticket. I saved it for the last. LULZ!
This is what I get from the ticket that I got. It’s the chicken rice soup. The secret kitchen has done an awesome food for me this time. ^^;;
This is the last picture that I took before going back to catch my last train together with KenLee along. Many people who meet me the last time can’t recognized me anymore due to the fact that I have changed my style into a Japanese look alike for young folks in Japan. Thank you guys for praising me especially Danny who use Cantonese to say it to me. ^^;; However the answer to the question about why I changed my style is because many of my friends told me to become abit more alike Japanese since you came to Japan where fashion trend is a must among the young folks like me where it needs to feel the time of your youth days. LULZ! ^^;;
And also to Danny who asked me about whether there is people around look at you while taking pictures of school girls around Tokyo and my answer to that question is no since it’s kinda normal for Japanese people to also did the same as I do and they doesn’t even care about it since they have already get used to these action here in Japan where you can do weird stuff around without getting a zillions eyes on your sight. LULZ! ^^;;
Danny is testing his voice changer but failed. ^^;;
Remember the Kagami where Danny often take her for Random shot around Tokyo. ^^;;
And tonight’s CGM night has just ended. Gonna look forward to the next one on May.
One of the awesome Mini bike I have ever seen. Is it legal to ride this without a registration plate number?
On the subway together with (Left ) Chris Gaunt, KenLee and TokyoCooney on the way back. Had a great chat with them especially TokyoCooney who took the last train with me before I’m off to change to my last train. I wish I could talk more with him but my speaking is not as good as my writing skills. My weakest point is still my conversation skill because back when I was a kid, I seldom speak much and have not trained how to talk with people around or even try to approach a person to have a chat with them unless it is involved in writing that I have always been doing in the past up until now. ( Gonna blog about it in some other time ) ^^;;
Had a great time yesterday and will be looking forward to the next one on the upcoming May. Not to say I did also received few of the name cards from various people there. ^^;;
