Gundam in Odaiba with Net Comrades
Yesterday Morning, I recieved an invitation from the famous DannyChoo who he asked me to go to Odaiba along and take photos of the great HUEG gundam which was completed recently together with him and the rest of the bloggers. It was kinda great to get invited and am looking forward to see the large gundam that was located in Odaiba with both of my eyes where I never seen one that big in my life before. ^^;;
On that day, After my class is over, I straight away rushing to the nearest train and took me around 40 minutes just to arrive at there. From there I called KenLee whom he also intend on going there for some photos taking about where the meeting places are. Was kinda confuse as my last visit to Odaiba was on last year where I previously blog about the beauty of the night where the only place and views that attracts tons of tourist from all over the world. After arriving at the meeting restuarant, talked with them and waited the rest of the bloggers to arrive after that thanks to KenLee for this awesome pictures on above that he uses his camera and took us all who was attending at that night. He allowed me to borrow this picture and use it as my main picture for this post.
Went along with the following folks including Paul Papadimitriou, Steven Nagata, Ken Lee, Zuco Pietro, Jonny Li, DannyChoo and me. ^^;;
Danny and Ken were checking on something with Danny’s DELL mini laptop. ^^;;
Yup.. Danny, I’m sorry for not able to talk alot with you and other guys since my oral speaking is my main weak point where I seldom talk alot with people unless I know them for centuries because I’m a shy guy who can’t think of a correct words to say when meeting people. My apologies and will try to improve this habit in future. If not I will be getting nervous even more and might fail on my university interview before the examination for my next year intake. ^^;;
Checking out on my camera. My only camera for all these months of my blogging pictures are from this. Usually I like to use it to take on Day light around Tokyo but failed at night mode. ^^;;
Danny asked me ” what do you usually do after going back home? ” Well.. What’s more than doing an usual surfing net, blogging, watching animes/dorama and check out bloggers articles around to see what’s new from their site and etc which basically what I do first before doing the rest like cooking and self studying. ^^;;
Snapping picture at the next table. ^^;;
Ordered Malaysian fried rice special for myself. It taste not as good as what I had back then but still It brings alot of memories of what I used to have before coming to Japan. How nostalgic it can be. ^^;;
One of the awesome mobile Hotspot owned by Steve Nagata. By using this thing, it can turn into a wi-fi and allow everyone around there to use it instead of just one user that plugs only use for their own laptop. How great is that.
Kagami DO APPROVE OF THIS!
Looks like they are having some problem on the serving food part where the waitress twisted around the wrong dishes to them. ^^;;
Jonny and Ken. They are talking about how good the camera is. Wish I could get a hands of those camera for myself. Will be changing a new camera soon but not so soon as I’m trying to get the new Iphone first before that.
An instruction to teach the Japanese how to use the spoon and fork to slice the chicken since the only thing they are good at is chopsticks. ^^;;
Snapping on Danny personal belongings. This is what he usually takes before going out.
Time to pay our food and off we go to look for the HUEG Gundam.
Can’t resist and took this awesome view on our half way journey.
After arriving at that spot, I was like ” WUT? where is the spotlight around that big area? “. I was expecting a nice spotlight around that figure which makes it look good for me to take a nice picture since my camera failed on night mode on places that is fully dark without any lights on. This is what the result is like on the above picture for my first picture upon seeing it. “orz”
ARGH.. It is the worst and didn’t think it was fully dark at that night and the strong winds blow hard on us which feel nice but yet with a messy hair after that. ^^;;
Danny was right. I should Invest on a better camera for my blogging. My target on compact camera will be the same as what Danny is using. The Lumix LX3.
Yes.. Plain dark. ^^;;
I’m the only one with a crappy camera here. ^^;;
Can’t help it as my camera only good at is on Daylight.
Danny is doing an awesome pose for the fiction created with Jonny Li’s camera. ^^;;
Only for sneak peak. For more you can look at Danny’s or Johnny site where those pictures will be up on their site.
For more better pictures, you can visit those bloggers post I mentioned at first as they have taken a pretty awesome pictures with their camera.
Thanks Steve Nagata for borrowing your tripod. It doesn’t do any good unless I get myself a better camera like Lumix LX3 which I plan to get it for my 2nd camera.
Can’t really satisfied on this pictures that I took at that night but no worries as I will be going there on Saturday during daylight for more awesome clear pictures for this awesome scale Gundam.
invest in a dslr!
Lol dont be too worried about ur oral skills. Ur lucky that u got to meet danny, i would probably be too happy and excited to speak to him ^^.
And don’t forget to save money for a new camera that can handle pictures at night
That’s gonna decide on after I get the new Iphone first. Haha!
That was a fun night, great to meet you there Lester!
Looks like you guys had fun!
Yeah, a SLR is worth getting. But even with crappy cameras, you can take decent night shots with a tripod. Looks like you didn’t keep the shutter open long enough to let in more light.
Paul: Yup.. Nice meeting you too. Didn’t know you were taller than me. ^^;;
Protocol Snow: One of the sad thing about my camera is that if there isn’t any light around it doesn’t do any good and will turn out into a crappy pain dark picture after taken it. ^^;;
I’d want to go there someday.
