After coming to Japan for almost 7 months now, I noticed that there are alot of restuarant here that provides or have a menu for food set order for people who wants to get something that can fill up your taste or desire on during lunch or dinner time. Japanese people loves to order food that include inside a set with Miso Soup, A bowl of rice, plate of meat and salad which most of them do prefer than order a separate dishes without any soup or salad with.

By ordering a set of food for lunch and dinner like this can save up alot of money instead of ordering it a different side order which can cost more than what a set can have with. I myself do prefer on set because it’s cheap and worth a penny since a set do have provide something that you wanted for to fill up your lovely stomach without getting hungry easily. Many salarymen and office ladies loves to go to a restuarant during lunch which does provide a cheap set of food where they can have what they want that includes inside that set.

As a foreign students here, You should try to get a set of food like this which allows you to fill up your stomach and taste on what you can have on other places where they don’t have set which cost more than a set type of food you can have in some resturant like this. Usually a set of food can cost from 500-900 Yen depending on what you order especially beef can cost more than that since having beef meat in Japan is very expensive than any other meat. Other than that, It’s cheaper and worth on trying it out. ^^;;
